Training Mode - No Phase 1 riddle
Phase 2: Whack-a-Mole - Single button lights up, press before timeout
No memory required. Pure reaction. Score = total hits.
EASY Stations (2 stations × 3 buttons)
Power Up - Standard Simon gameplay
Phase 1 Solution: GREEN → BLUE → RED
Phase 2: Standard Simon - Watch sequence, repeat, sequence grows
Slow, forgiving tempo. Score = highest round reached.
MEDIUM Stations (3 stations × 4 buttons)
System Sync - Count Simon gameplay
Phase 1 Solution: RED → YELLOW → WHITE → BLUE
Phase 2: Count Simon - Button flashes X times, press X times
Memory for button AND count. Score = highest round reached.
HARD Stations (2 stations × 5 buttons)
Master Control - Rhythm Simon gameplay
Phase 1 Solution: BLUE → RED → SILVER → GREEN → YELLOW
Phase 2: Rhythm Simon - Match button order AND timing
Wrong rhythm = fail. Score = highest round reached.
Build Notes:
- Print labels and affix to/near corresponding buttons on each station
- Labels should be durable (laminated or printed on cardstock)
- Consider printing button numbers directly on button housing for clarity
- 3-button panels: Intro + Easy (3 stations total)
- 4-button panels: Medium (3 stations total)
- 5-button panels: Hard (2 stations total)
