Spacing: Keep reed switches at least 3" apart. If cities are closer than 3", use less sensitive switches or weaker magnets.

Installation Checklist

  • Mount steel washers at all 15 city positions
  • Mount reed switches at 4 route cities only
  • Wire switches in series (order doesn't matter)
  • Test each switch individually with multimeter
  • Test complete circuit with all 4 magnets
  • Verify LED lights only with correct solution
