Wire Path (Physical Order)
+12V → Dayton → Caracas → Berlin → Nairobi → Tehran → Seoul → Bangkok → Sydney → LED → GND
Panel Specifications
Panel Size: 36" wide × 48" tall (portrait)
Material: 1/4" - 1/2" plywood or MDF
Reed Switches: 8 (normally-open)
Steel Washers: 23 (1" - 1.5" diameter)
Tokens: 8 (on strings, attached to panel)
Spacing: Keep reed switches at least 3" apart. If cities are closer than 3", use less sensitive switches or weaker magnets.
Installation Checklist
- Mount steel washers at all 23 city positions
- Mount reed switches at 8 route cities only
- Wire switches in series (order doesn't matter)
- Test each switch individually with multimeter
- Test complete circuit with all 8 magnets
- Verify LED lights only with correct solution
